The Beginning
Over the past year in Singapore, I've met over 50 AI founders and talked to them about what they're building.
The conversations always came back to two things: fundraising and growth. But what surprised me wasn't the challenges they faced—it was their ambition.
These weren't founders thinking "let's figure out the home market first." They were building for international users from Day 1. This felt different from previous startup waves.
AI products are global by default.
The tools they were building—AI writing assistants, financial automation, hiring platforms—didn't have natural geographic boundaries. If it worked in Singapore, it could work anywhere.
The Pattern
After dozens of conversations, I started seeing a pattern.
These founders had built great products. Some had early traction, some had raised funding. But they all hit the same wall: distribution.
Building is no longer the hard part. Getting users is. And the best investors, partners, and customers often don't know these companies exist.
I started curating the companies I thought had real potential—essentially building a directory of products and founders worth paying attention to.
The Turning Point
But then I asked myself a question.
Why stop at curation? Why not actually help them grow?
The moment everything changed
I had the tools to do it. I'd built a system for generating high-quality web pages at scale—the kind that rank in search engines and drive organic traffic. Pages that would keep working long after they were published.
And in Singapore, I'd spent time building community connections and relationships with strategic resources—government officials from EDB, investors looking for opportunities, ecosystem partners who could open doors.
My background made sense for this: I've run communities before, worked in venture investing, and understand how businesses actually grow. I knew what founders needed wasn't just a listing—it was infrastructure.
That's how Flos started.
The Solution
We help AI products grow globally through online distribution and offline market entry.
Online
We curate AI products on our platform and generate pages that rank for what people are actually searching for. Users find solutions organically. Founders get traffic without burning ad budgets.
Offline
We organize landing events and facilitate introductions—government officials, investors, potential partners. Real relationships that actually move businesses forward.
Together
Online builds awareness and credibility. Offline builds trust and opens doors. Most platforms do one or the other. We do both because that's what creates momentum.
Why "Flos"
The Name
Flos comes from Latin: to bloom, to flourish.
Growth should happen naturally. Great products should find their users. Capital should flow to real innovation without unnecessary friction.
That's the kind of ecosystem we're building—one where good companies can flourish, regardless of where they started.
Who This Is For
If you're building an AI product and want international reach without massive ad spend—let's talk.
If you're entering Singapore or Asia-Pacific and need real connections, not just intros—let's talk.
If you believe AI should be global from Day 1—we should definitely talk.
