The Opportunity I Saw
In Singapore, I'm surrounded by a thriving AI startup community. Many are global Chinese founders building incredible products — but they face two critical challenges:
First, they need traffic and growth. These founders have built amazing AI tools, but getting users is expensive and difficult. Traditional marketing burns cash with uncertain returns.
Second, global investors don't know them. There's brilliant innovation happening in the Chinese AI ecosystem, but it's invisible to international VCs and strategic partners who could help these companies scale globally.
I realized I'm uniquely positioned to solve both problems.
Why I'm Building Flos
I moved from Beijing to Singapore in 2023 and stepped into a thriving AI startup community — many of them are global Chinese founders building ambitious products for international markets.
What surprised me is that the hardest part is no longer building. It's distribution — traffic, growth, and getting the right users without burning cash on ads.
At the same time, I've spoken with many global investors who are genuinely curious about this ecosystem, but don't have a clear view into what's happening inside it. There's world-class innovation, yet much of it remains invisible outside local networks and non-English narratives.
I happen to sit in between these two worlds — founders and investors — and I've seen the same gap repeat: great products exist, but visibility and scalable growth don't come naturally.
That's why Flos exists.
What Flos Does
Flos is built around two things: growth and visibility.
